iPhone 14 Pro Max has a 4,323 mAh battery and Apple A16 Bionic chip; cell phone reaches 6.5 in the reparability index.
The iPhone 14 Pro Max did not even hit stores, but it has already gone through a dismantling process. This week, the YouTube channel PBKreviews revealed the interior of the phone with the Apple A16 Bionic processor and a hole in the screen instead of the notch. The triple 48-megapixel camera and the battery with more than 4,000 mAh are other highlights.
The analysis used the American version of the cell phone, which does not have an entry for carrier chips. The dismantling process started by removing the two screws at the bottom. Then, just remove the screen to access the inside of the cell phone.
Right off the bat, there is an L-shaped battery. The piece has a capacity of 4,323 mAh and is attached to the phone’s body with glue. The Apple A16 Bionic processor and the motherboard are covered by layers of graphite to transfer and dissipate heat, helping to reduce the phone’s temperature.
iPhone 14 Pro leaves screen with notch aside
The big change is aimed at the screen, which left the notch adopted in 2017, on the iPhone X, aside. Now, the phone has a hole to house the front camera, just like other Android smartphones available on the market. Also, the proximity sensor has been moved to the back of the dash.
The new cutout of the iPhone 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max follows the pill format. The solution is interesting thanks to Dynamic Island, an integration between hardware and software to make short information available around the notch. Thus, it is possible to check connections, music playing and the like in the new area.
After the entire dismantling process, the phone received a score of 6.5 out of 10 in the repairability index. The review highlights the ease of finding parts, changing the screen and battery. However, the iPhone 14 Pro Max is not that easy to be reassembled – and not even disassembled, right.
Mobile phones get 48 MP camera and always-on display
